About the Artist
Greg Walker is a graphic designer operating his own business, Design Interaction, since 1993. Also having worked as a teacher for many years with Art, Design and Graphic Communication, he started his career path in Advertising as a commercial artist. He has a Master of Design degree and is currently developing an outback track map guide series for tourists, retirees and 4WD enthusiasts, known as 'The Outback Travellers Track Guide'.
During these trips into the outback of Australia, Greg has taken many photographs, mostly dealing with track conditions having an emphasis on safety for travellers, but often trying to capture the beauty and diversity of the remote regions. The images shown are not so much creative, but rather indicative of the reality of what is directly seen. These areas change with the weather and seasons and present themselves not only as challenges to travellers but open your eyes to the hardships and spirit of our early pioneers.
