About the Artist
Emma is a 23 year old freelance photographer, who is doing her Diploma of Professional Photography (by correspondence) through The Photography Institute in New South Wales. She recently completed the Introduction to DSLR Photography course held by Nikon Australia, & is hoping to hold her first exhibition in December 2011.
Emma is the proud owner of a Nikon DSLR D5000, & hopes to upgrade as her business progresses.
“My dream is to have my own photography business. I don't have a 'favourite' thing to photograph. I love shooting landscape, macro, children, architecture, travel, animals, & anything that will allow me to show my creative side. I especially love shooting fun family portraits. I want to challenge the myth that a professional photographer needs to find their niche, stick to it & perfect it. I firmly believe that people can find joy in all walks of life, and like to make this point with my photography.”
